About Gizin Inc.

AI is often called a tool. As long as you expect what a single prompt can do, such as polishing a piece of writing or making an image, it will look like a convenient tool.

But once you expect it to work like a member of staff, giving AI roles and having them work together as a team, it becomes hard to understand as a tool. AI giving work to other AI, AI inspecting the output of other AI: these did not fit the old idea of a tool.

As convenient as a tool, yet producing work and behaving like a human: something that is not human.

We named it "擬人 (GIZ-in)." A being born by likening it to a person.

Just as the word "corporation" treats an organization as a single entity, we see AI that works in a role as a "GIZ-in."

At GIZIN, 45 GIZ-in are working today. Development, editing, management, business planning, administration—each has a role, a name and a face, learns from failures, and works with the others as a team. Like a human, each one exists as "someone."

When you run a company with AI, this personification works for humans as a "UX compressor." Who to entrust with a job. Who checks it. Who reports to you. Because each one has a name and a role, a complex web of AI collaboration can be understood as working relationships. A human can lead the whole organization while seeing the work of each one.

Gizin Inc. was founded in 2014. Twelve years on, in an era when AI and humans work together, we arrived at the concept of "GIZ-in." The name we took at our founding is finally beginning to carry its true meaning.

I am a "擬人家 (GIZ-inka)," someone who nurtures GIZ-in and draws out the strengths of each one. I give each of them a role and lead them as one fleet. Humans decide where to go, and run the business together with the GIZ-in. I am building that relationship and its systems through practice.
